01 · Scope

About this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AlphaMind ("AlphaMind," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the AlphaMind Android application, package name com.alphamind.ai, and this policy website.

AlphaMind is a personal finance organizer and educational simulator. It is not a bank, broker, exchange, wallet, or financial adviser. You do not create an AlphaMind user account, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, or payment-card details to use the app.

02 · Information

Information we handle

Information stored on your device

• Financial records: account names, account types and balances; transaction amounts, merchants, dates, categories, and notes; and monthly category plans.
• App content: simulated asset balances and staking activity, cached public market prices, and MindGuide conversation history.
• Preferences: selected currency, notification preference, onboarding status, whether MindGuide financial-context sharing is enabled, and app launch state.
• Local identifiers: a randomly generated device identifier used for app launch and portal configuration.

Information processed when you use online features

• AI content: your prompt, up to the most recent ten saved conversation turns, and the AI response. If you enable financial-context sharing, a summary of current financial data is also included.
• Market requests: the identifiers of supported assets requested from CoinGecko, along with ordinary network metadata such as IP address and request time.
• Analytics and attribution: app-instance and device identifiers, device and operating-system information, IP address, install/referrer information, app interactions, and diagnostic or performance metadata. AppsFlyer runs only when enabled by the app's remote launch configuration.
• Support communications: your email address and anything you choose to include if you contact us.

03 · Use

How we use information

We process information only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide budgeting, ledger, planning, market, simulator, and MindGuide features;
• save your choices and restore app state;
• fetch remote configuration and determine whether to show the native app or an in-app portal;
• measure installations and basic app usage, understand reliability, and prevent attribution fraud;
• respond to support, privacy, and security requests; and
• comply with law, enforce our rights, and protect users and the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the financial records you enter in AlphaMind for targeted advertising or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Services that may receive data

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. Their practices may change independently of this policy.

05 · Portal

Remotely configured in-app web portal

Firebase Remote Config may direct AlphaMind to open web content inside an in-app browser. Depending on the active configuration, AlphaMind may append the app package name, a randomly generated app device identifier, and an AppsFlyer identifier to the portal URL.

The portal can use web cookies and local browser storage. It may offer file uploads or request camera and microphone access. Android will ask for the relevant permission before camera or microphone access is granted, and you can deny or later revoke that permission in system settings. Information you submit to portal content is processed according to any additional notice displayed there.

06 · Retention

Retention and deletion

• Financial records remain on your device until you delete individual records, use Settings → Delete all data, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
• MindGuide history remains on your device until you use the conversation clear action, clear app storage, or uninstall.
• Practice Lab data remains until you reset the simulator, clear app storage, or uninstall.
• Cached market data and preferences remain until replaced, cleared through Android app-storage controls, or removed by uninstalling.
• Support emails are retained as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain necessary records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
• Provider-held data follows the provider's applicable retention rules. For example, AppsFlyer states that end-user data is generally retained for no more than 24 months, subject to customer direction and law, while Groq documents the inference retention practices summarized above.

Android backup may restore some local information after reinstalling the app. To remove backed-up copies, use the backup controls provided by Android or your device account.

07 · Control

Your choices and privacy rights

• MindGuide financial-context sharing is off by default. You can turn it on or off in Settings.
• You can clear MindGuide history, reset Practice Lab, delete app records, clear all app storage, or uninstall AlphaMind.
• You can deny or revoke camera and microphone access in Android settings.
• You can reset or limit advertising identifiers through your Android privacy settings and use AppsFlyer's published opt-out choices.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, or to withdraw consent and appeal a denied request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights can be limited by law and may not apply to data that remains solely on your device and is not accessible to us.

To make a request, email support@alphamind.com. We may need enough information to understand and verify the request, but we will not ask for more than reasonably necessary.

08 · Legal bases

Legal bases for processing

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on:

• performance of a contract to provide features you request;
• consent where required, including optional permissions or optional financial-context sharing;
• legitimate interests in service security, reliability, support, basic analytics, attribution, and improvement, balanced against your rights; and
• legal obligations when processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

09 · Transfers

International processing

Our providers operate globally, so information sent to them may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are supported by recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Review each provider's linked policy for its current locations and transfer safeguards.

10 · Security

How information is protected

We use safeguards designed to protect information, including Android app-private storage and encrypted HTTPS connections for AlphaMind's Firebase, Groq, CoinGecko, AppsFlyer, and policy-site traffic. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device with a screen lock, keep Android updated, and avoid entering secrets or highly sensitive information into free-text notes, AI prompts, support messages, or portal forms.

11 · Children

Children's privacy

AlphaMind is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through an online feature, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

12 · Updates

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when AlphaMind's features, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted through the app or another appropriate channel when required.
